Partnering with our community near & far to joyfully spread the message and love of Jesus.
First Presbyterian Church of Succasunna strives to live out its statement of faith on a day-to-day basis by donating our time, talent, and money to a variety of missions locally, nationally, and globally.
Locally, we regularly support these organizations:
- Camp Johnsonburg
- The Faith Kitchen in Dover
- Family Promise-Morris County
- Homeless Solutions
- Roxbury Food Pantry
- Roxbury Social Services
First Presbyterian Church of Succasunna collects donations of milk and eggs or the cash equivalent for Roxbury Social Services every two weeks. Our Deacons support Camp Johnsonburg; we cook meals, make lunch & breakfast bags, and serve meals for the Faith Kitchen in Dover throughout the year; and collect for Family Promise & Homeless Solutions.

Summer Mission Adventure
Each summer, our Mission Committee plans a week of service for both youth & adults – contact us to get involved.
We also take part in The Souper Bowl of Caring every year – a national movement which benefits local charities chosen by the youth participating.
Through initiatives such as One Great Hour of Sharing, Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, and Habitat for Humanity we work to spread Christ’s love outside the borders of Succasunna, Morris County & New Jersey.

Support of a Chenoa Stock – Missionary in Peru

The Joining Hands Peru Network was started in the 1990s with the help of the Presbyterian Hunger Program. The member organizations work at the grassroots level, accompanying communities and non-governmental organizations as they empower at-risk communities and challenge systems that generate hunger and cause environmental depredation.
Do not seek your own advantage but that of the other.
