The cemetery of the First Presbyterian Church of Succasunna is a historic site with amazing and interesting back stories. Read about one such story in the Fall 2024 issue of Weird NJ magazine. Their are Native Americans, Revolutionary War & Civil War soldiers, NJ dignitaries, and many more interesting people interred in the cemetery. The oldest recorded grave dates to March 6, 1767. Recently, the cemetery completed a digitization project which chronicles all the grave markers on the land.

A columbarium was constructed at the cemetery in 2025, offering a tranquil and secure place for the interment of cremated remains. Columbarium niches measure 13 inches by 13 inches.

The Cemetery is open from dawn to dusk.  Please – no dogs, bikes, skating, or skateboarding on the grounds. For information about the cemetery, the columbarium, or burial at the cemetery, please contact cemetery manager Robert Stark.
