October 25th

5:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Come and hear the rich stories of prominent historical NJ figures who are buried in the cemetery of First Presbyterian Church of Succasunna!

What is the Cemetery Tour?

It’s a guided, evening walking tour through our lantern-lit cemetery, where you’ll visit several resident “spirits” who will share their stories and a bit of local history. Our cemetery dates to the 1600’s (likely earlier!) with the original habitants of the land being the Lenni Lenape native Americans. This year, we will have more resident “spirits” from the colonial & revolutionary times, in celebration of our country’s 250th anniversary. The moonlight cemetery tour is always a great, family-friendly (dark but not “scary”) and fun-filled event.

Ticket Prices: $12 per person in advance ($15 at the door)

Tour groups will begin every 10 minutes starting at 5:30 pm. The final group will begin at 8:00 pm. Please indicate your preferred timeslot on this form. We’ll do our best to accommodate your preference.

You will be walking through the cemetery at night. It will be illuminated by candles, but we recommend bringing a flashlight, too. Wear comfortable shoes. and dress for the weather.
